Twas the eve before the Fund-raiser

And all through the house, there’s boxes of goodies awaiting their out!

Tomorrow is our fund-raiser. We have a band, we have t-shirts, we have bake sale goodies, we have lots of great finds in our silent auction, we have African jewelry. We have hotdogs and brats and fresh fruit in our concessions. We hope to have friends and family and lots of fun!

We were told to think outside of the box when it came to getting our funding for building our house and supporting our ministry out in the bush of Africa. We found the band, Rising Joy. One of their members, Matt Pinotti, really opened our eyes to see all of what goes into a fundraiser. He, as well as several friends that have been a part of other fundraisers, has turned what could have been an outdoor barbeque in the yard into a entertaining and exciting fun-raiser. We are so thankful. We are so blessed. It really is amazing.

The most exciting thing about this is… drum roll please… we have a double donor donation donor. We can receive up to $7,500.00 in donations and our donor will give double what anyone gives. So, if you give $1.00, they will give $2.00 so it will come to our account as $3.00! $50.00 becomes $150.00! $200.00 becomes $600.00!

We are praying that God brings the right people to this event. We’ll let you know how it goes.
