We have made it to Park Rapids and Alexandria to talk to congregations. They both went fairly well. Both had their hick-ups, but all in all God provided what each group needed at the time. It is truely amazing how different the feel and “schpeal” goes at each new place we visit. While in Alexandria, they not only got us a hotel room for the night, they also have a missions room that is full of supplies for missionary families like bandaids, bug spray, notebooks and pencils, scrub pads, cooking utinsels – whatever you can think of really that you might need. We got things that we wouldn’t have bought because the money wasn’t there or whatever other reason. It was a blessing. It will be interesting to learn what our amounts where next month when we get our information from ACM.
Another thing, Arley had a discussion with the man, and said that all his extra jobs will be going towards our mission trip and the next day, we go two calls from people asking for him to come out and do work! He made $250 for the trip in just those two jobs! He is truley amazing.
Thank you for all your prayers and financial support. We know that God will have us go when the time is right. We have decided to get involved another step by helping out with AWANA and the jr high girls this fall. Also, we have Solomon enrolled in preschool here in North Branch.
