Exciting Times

Three times in one day, must be some kind of record. I didn’t realize I had that many random thoughts in my head!  You will never guess what I recieved in the mail today! I am so excited, you’ll never guess! Wanna? No? Ok, I’ll tell you with a little back story. I help out with the junior high Prime Time at church on Wednesday nights. One of the other guys that helps out is Seth. He has an amazing knack for worship and finding stunning meaningful wonderful songs for the kids to worship to. There are two or three that we sing more than the rest and one sends me to tears every time I hear it (I was even on my knees this last wednesday). The kids must think that I am ridiculous with my arms stretched out and my eyes shut and tears rolling down my face, but that is why I stand in the back people! OK, the the song is from a band hailing from Canada called downhere and the song is Here I am. I’m telling you this is one amazing song! Well, Arley and I were talking about it one day and saying we would like to use that song while we were putting together a video of pictures from when we get back from Africa and are raising our support for full time. I went on www.downhere.com and asked for permission to use the song and also if they might be interested in sending us a cd and I GOT IT TODAY IN THE MAIL! With strict instructions to get every Ugandan I can hooked on their music! 🙂 Isn’t that AWESOME! God is great, God is good, and we thank Him for His “food”. track02
