I have been having some thoughts lately.
Thoughts about coming home. Thoughts about opening the house back up, restocking our pantry and fridge, bargain shopping, getting ready for the gardening season…
The list goes on and on.
We are praying that God provides for us food-wise when we get back since it will be 4 weeks before Arley gets a paycheck and we cleared out the pantry, fridge, and both freezers before we came here.
We are praying for God to provide for us for the house repairs, or upgrades as you will, that we need to accomplish this summer. We are praying that God provides us with the needed funds to pay off the two bills still looming over our heads.
I am thinking about some business classes that we could utilize on the mission field. I am thinking about all that has happened and what God is going to reveal to us through this experience.
I am thinking that we are over half over with our first overseas, as a family, missions trip. I am amazed and thrilled at how my boys have become their own best friends (which was my first dream for them as soon as Abraham came). I pray that they continue to be their own best friends and playmates.
I will miss how simple decisions are here. I will miss the ease of shopping, if you can get over the bargaining in the markets and the vendors vying for your attention and your money.
I will miss our new friends. I hope to return here one day, even if it is for vacation purposes! What a vacation that would be.
Hey Miranda, I’ve been feeling the same way. This week the weather has been so nice, I broke out the Capri’s and flip-flops! I too am very excited to start planting. I already started my tomatoes and peppers inside! I also want you and the boys to come down again in August and help me pick chockcherries and wild plums and we can make some jam. Hope you guys are having a very enjoyable and fullfilling expirence there!
