It was a day much like today. The humidity was high, the rain was coming in spurts throughout the afternoon. The sun was bright and high in the sky. I was in love, much as I am today. This day, seven years ago, would be the start to my new chapter. The chapter that would not be focused so much on me, but us. Seven years ago, two kids were brought together by God and were married.
We are not so much kids anymore, but we have three instead. And we are about to embark on a new adventure – we are getting closer to heading to Africa. We learned this weekend that we will most likely be embarking around Feburary. But that is a different post for a different day. Today, seven years ago, our hearts became one and our souls were joined together intertwined with God’s. I can’t wait for another 7 years, or 70 for that matter. Love you Arley.
