Eden’s two month checkup

Eden graced us with her presence two months ago (about). I feel myself loving her more deeply every day! She is so fun to have in the house! She loves her brothers, loves to hike in my wrap (very important in this family lately), and is once again LOVING her food. She was at the clinic today for her checkup and we got affirmation that once again, we grow big babies. She is 16.13 lbs and 24.3 in and of course she is off the charts…like I’m surprised!

Other news around the house. We are slowly getting things moved up to the new house. Arley’s uncle was here with the truck and trailer and packed them with more of our belongings. We decided to just bring everything up and whatever doesn’t fit in the house will be sold at a garage sale.

Abraham is really getting his cognitive skills going on! He was actually joking with me today and he isn’t so frustrated anymore and I haven’t had to find him down the block for over a week! He filled up this container with a small piece of grass in it, then went back outside and got a bigger piece of grass and gave the whole container to me after telling me, “look, it growed!” Too funny!

Solomon just added a sprain to his list of “what can I do to myself before I die” list which as a reminder includes; 8 stitches in two different spots, cut on his eye glued together which got infected and got 3 or 4 of the said 8 stitches, smashing his toe, the list goes on and on, but tonight he fell out of the tree for the first time and sprained his wrist. Can’t wait to see what it looks like tomorrow! And yes, he was being supervised while gallivanting around on the roof!

We have been utilizing our state park pass now that my body is beginning to think about getting back to normal and the boys have been loving it! We have been to Interstate park several times (our favorite park other than Itasca) and last weekend we went to Banning. This weekend Arley, Eden, and I hope to head down to Forestville and go to Mystery Cave while the boys are with their Aunt and Uncle hanging out with family. Here we are at Banning overlooking or at least listening to the water below.

  1. Solomon reminds me so much of Jonn. I always would ask him “how old are you?” He’d tell me an age, then I’d say, “do you want to make it to ‘whatever the next age?” because he had no fear and was always making his own thrill rides by riding toys down the stairs, or climbing tress to the very top.
    We love you all!
