Yesterday was Eden’s post -op appointment down in the cities. It went great. She is up to 14 lbs and 23? inches. This means she has definitely making up for lost time because she has gained two lbs since her surgery two weeks ago! The rest of the day was a bit more iffy to say the least.
The day started out good. Solomon went with his dad so it was just Abraham, Eden, and myself for the day. We left for the cities after lunch and stopped at my grandma’s house to visit and drop off Abraham with my mom so I could bring Eden to the appointment alone. On my way back to the house, the car overheated and we had to stop in a parking lot of a lawnmower place. My dad was able to come over and help limp it part of the way back to my grandmas before it overheated again (12 blocks). We decided to come back after the traffic died down at the temperature went down. Well, one of the two happened! It was still hot, but we ventured out to try and get the car back once again. We brought some water for the radiator and my license and my sunglasses, but I forgot my KEYS! Ugh, so once again, back to grandma’s house to pick up my keys. We finally got the car home after only having to stop one more time. As soon as we hit the driveway, the light came on once again and I shut the car off. By this time, it was after nine o’clock and Arley and Solomon had to run down and pick us up.
We went down again today and it turned out to be a stuck temperature gauge, so I got to drive it home today! I am so happy that my car is fixed, but even more happy that Eden is better!
