Any whatnots

Wow, the baby is getting strong! No more is it moving around in utero, but rather thrashing violently from one side to the other. It is quite amazing! Many are looking shocked at me (rather my stomach) and commenting that they haven’t seen a baby move in ones belly like they see when they look at mine. Isn’t that exciting? I’m not saying that is the word that I am using right now at 11:48pm with “thrasher”, but I am trying to keep positive :).

I am loving our new mattress, even though I am not utilizing it at the moment. We have had it for about a week now and after the initial sore body from the new alignment, I am so ecstatic that we chose to buy it rather than pay on the boiler or something(as in bills) that might-have-shoulda-maybe been done.

My lovely Harley has been pretty obsessed with the belly lately. I am not sure why since she likes to lay on people who do not move a millimeter while she is on your lap….. anyway. She seems to enjoy giving me dirty looks as she is trying to sit or lay or sleep on “thrasher”.

I have been “somewhat” nesting since Thursday night. Well, since Friday… I actually had the strong urge to pick up a bit (as in move couches and roll up the rug and clean under every piece of furniture and move wall shelves and re-arrange the whole living room) but I craved the urge by starting a puzzle at 10pm Thursday night and then coaxing myself to bed after contemplating starting another one at 2am Friday morning. So when I awoke in the later am on friday, I had no choice but to vacuum all the floors, including moving the couch and everything else so I could really get some clean on, put up the crib, re-arrange the furniture, take off a wall shelf for Arley to move, and then make it to my doctor appointment at 10am 🙂  (where she confirmed that I have indeed dropped and urged me to let “thrasher” bake another week before making an enterance into this world). Then it was home again to start the laundry and do the dishes and clean the kitchen, rearrange the coat/shoe closet and the pantry.

  1. Oh my gosh!! You make me tired just reading your agenda!!! I distinctly remember doing that 2 days before A.J. decided to make his grand entrance!!! How many weeks are you now? Hang in there girl, this baby is just being true to his/her daddy (and probably mommy)colors. A.J. was really good at making my stomache look like he was having a fight with my rib cage..ouch!!! Made it a little hard to breathe at times 🙂 I can’t wait til this little one makes his/her grand entrance and I am very sure you can’t either!! Love you all, Grandma Jo
