Solomon got his cast on today. He chose red. He also got a cheap pair of transformer flip flops since we think Abraham gave his old flip flops to the neighbor dog (along with one of Sol’s church shoes). He is enjoying his new found freedom of using his fingers again. He is amazed at how hard it is. He did start to get some swelling on Thursday that didn’t totally go away today, so he might have to have it re-casted next week if the swelling goes down again. It’s just so hard to keep a 5yo boy from moving his wrist……
Meanwhile, Abe was off with Dad today at work. Solomon has been ‘bored’ without someone to play with so I let him take some pictures with my camera. Here is a rare picture with me in it. I am clipping Eden’s nails.
And finally, here is a picture of the boys having lunch break while they were playing ‘going to work’ earlier this week. They filled up their mini cooler (just like dad’s big cooler) with a lunch including raisins, jelly beans, bananas, and juice boxes and went to work on the shed Arley is disassembling to bring up north.
